Gopal, Krishna and Radha have grown up together they come from different strata of society - Gopal is an orphan - Krishna is a son of Mrs. Sinha an educationist and Radha is a daughter of an aristocrat father Raisaheb. The destiny has somehow put them in such circumstances that they have become friends from childhood. All the three are very near to each other - but this nearness has a difference. Gopal loves Radha, Kirshna also loves Radha - and Radha likes Gopal as a friend but loves Krishna. Gopal is not much educated, Krishna is studying for his law exams - and Radha has completed her education. Gopal is a simpleton and hence an extrovert, Krishna's bringing up has made him an introvert and Radha is a girl shy and confused to certain extent. The result being that Gopal one fine day requests his friend Krishna to put up a proposal before Radha for Radha's hand in marriage for him. Krishna who had already written to Radha in this matter on that very day retrieves his letter by a trick - and goes and talks to Raisaheb about Gopal and Radha.
Everyone in the town likes Gopal because he never says no to anyone to do anything. Raisaheb likes Gopal as he is known to him from childhood does not loose his temper on Krishna or Gopal just asks as to what is Gopal doing - because love is not everything bread is the basic necessity for all and to get that a person has to earn. Krishna conveys this to Gopal. Gopal understands the point and leaves the town to become something to enable him to stand on the same pedestal as Krishna's. Radha who loves Krishna from her heart is not in a position to divulge her emotions before Krishna. Her friend Geeta coaxes her to be frank to the matter or she will miss the train.
Gopal writes to both Radha and Krishna about himself. One fine day Raisaheb and Radha are informed by Krishna that Gopal's plane in which he was coming after some years meet them crashed. They feel sorry. Radha has confessed to Krishna about her love and vice versa. Their romance hots up and they even come too close before they can tell their parents to get them married. Suddenly Gopal appears as a surprise - he informs them as to how he was saved. Gopal's appearance puts Radha and Krishna in a dilemma. Krishna decided to tell him the fact, he goes to Dr. Khurana's place to meet Gopal. Gopal has been brought up Dr. Khurana. Is Krishna able to tell the real facts? What does Radha do? All the three friends find themselves in a 'MIDSTREAM'.... The MAJHDHAAR of the emotions of life MAJHDHAAR is a film for a FRIEND, a LOVER and a LOOSER.
